What is Shop Mobility?
Sutton Shop Mobility is a charity set up to loan wheelchairs and scooters to people with mobility problems.

Will I receive training and advice when using a powered vehicle for the first time?
Yes, the staff and volunteers will spend time with you advising and training.

Where can I use the vehicles?
In Sutton town centre - to visit the shops, Library, Civic Offices, Cinema etc.

What time do I have to return the vehicle?
All wheelchairs and scooters must be returned to the office by 4.45pm Monday - Saturday and 4.15pm on Sundays.

Do I have to have a blue badge to be able to join the scheme?
No, the scheme is open to anyone with a disability, including people with temporary disabilities such as a broken limb, people awaiting hip replacement or pregnant women etc.

Do I have to live in the Borough?
You do not have to live in the Borough to be able to borrow a vehicle. Friends and family who are visiting are welcome to use the scheme.
